Impact Zambia was established in 2012 with a vision of working in partnership with indigenous leaders to help some of the poorest communities in rural areas of southwestern Zambia. Its primary ministries are operated through New Life Tabernacle (founded in 1994 and headquartered in Itezhi-tezhi, Zambia) and its 20+ branch churches.

Impact Zambia’s first project was to build a facility that doubled up as an office and school on the site of the Itezhi-tezhi church, and to build new church buildings in Mumbwa and Namwala. Through partnerships with Canadian and South African churches, International Teams Canada, the Share Your Knowledge group, and Rotary International, they have since expanded their programs to include community development initiatives designed to break the cycle of poverty by limiting isolation and providing education and vocational training.read more →

Impact Zambia 2019 Goals

  1. 1
Complete Phase 1 of multipurpose training center with lodging facilities
A training centre with overnight facilities in rural Zambia will go a far way to provide underprivileged learners new marketable skills and knowledge and equip church leaders from rural areas. It will allow the expansion of the Share Your Knowledge project that has been launched on a small scale.
  2. 2
    Make Training Centre Operational
We are working on the registration of the Impact Zambia Training Centre with the Zambian government.  It will allow us to offer courses that are accredited. We also need to raise enough monthly support to appoint key staff positions.
  3. 3
Establish the Share Your Knowledge program
This grassroots volunteer-run program has equipped and trained more than 125 women in rural southwestern Zambia in sewing, which enabled them to provide for their families.  It has been expanded to include carpentry, catering, hospitality, plumbing and business training. In addition, we are aiming to establish a school for family therapy and continue teaching in counselling skills and palliative care. these opportunities provide underprivileged learners a means to support their families.
  4. 4
Attend Southern African PACE summit in Oct 2019
This summit is a key networking and capacity building opportunity for leaders and is hosted by PACE Ministries in Kenya. God willing we will raise funds for Daniel and Florence to attend and to go on to Dubai to grow the support base for Impact Zambia.
